Shakespear is still difficult to understand. It becomes easier, but you have to watch it repeatly it seems to really catch on to the language. I have gotten better than i was before we watched A Mid-Summers Night Dream. I don't understand how the language changed so much over the years. They sounded so formal compared to todays language.
I would not want to talk like that, but i wonder how the language changed so much between then and now. We use some of the same words, but they mean totally different thing. For example, wench means a young girl, now it is used as a bad term for women. Back in their day they would have not put up with all of our language, so why do we have to learn theirs. I get that is it good to know and it will help with the play, but seriously I am not going to talk to someone saying where art thou, ill say where are you? or hey whats up?. I like our language, and im sticking with it.

SHES THE MAN
The movie i think is a good example of Shakespear is She's the Man. This movie is actually based on a Shakespear play. This movie is a good example of Shakespear for many reasons. One is those reasons is how Amanda Bynes dresses up like a man throughout the movie. In Shakespears time men would dress up as women, because women weren't allowed to become actors. This movie is based on Shakespear's Twelfth Night.
Both She's the Man and Shakespear's Twelfth Night have alike drama and even comedy. Andy Fickman, the director of She's the Man, says "Shakespears comedy is too good not to riff off". According to many websites I visited and comments I have read, people seem to enjoy "modern Shakespear" rather than the actual thing. I would definitely agree with them! Watching A Mid-Summer's Night Dream and then watching She's the Man, I definitely like modern Shakespear compared to his orginal.
